ANIMATION AND ALL ITS GLORY!

I was thinking about the audio animation project.  Then I was watching "House" and listening to the intro.  I wondered if I could get the instrumental version of it and shorten it down a bit, you could use that for the project.  Well no you can't because you have to do what the "client" in this case Ms. Licata wants and use the audio given.  But I am just throwing it out there because it sounds cool.  Complete opinion of course.  Ok that's my rant for the week.

ANIMATION AND ALL ITS GLORY!

Okay this week we have to finish our 3-d shorts and start on our audio driven animation...thingy.  I am going to use the audio cartilage.  A basic beat and it kind of makes me think of techno strobe lights on certain down beats like each shape changes color, size, amount etc, on that note.  We will see won't we?  I only hope it turns out o-kay.  I can't repeat stuff too much or it'll end up being a very flat animation.  Only so much you can do with the audio we are given.  Oh well.  So tired this week. Anyway that is it.  See you next week with hopefully a new attitude and more sleep.

ANIMATION AND ALL ITS GLORY!

This week is more work days along with a demo in morph tags and lip synching.  "This may not be useful to you right now," Ms. Licata had told us. "but it may come in handy for your other projects later down the road."  I may need to do a little when the boy calls out on the corner.  Or when the female makes an "O" face.  (not like that...perverts). Anyway moving on.  Worst part of this week, audio driven animation.  Just stick a knife through me.  I know that in this profession, beggars really cannot be choosers, and that bums me out.  Have you ever noticed that? People either have a job that they really love but may not get paid a whole lot of money, or they have a crappy job, listen to "Highway to Hell" as they drive into work, but get paid a boatload for it.  I think my worst fear of getting a job is ending up in a cubicle.  You know an actually cubicle, a pencil pusher. Doing the same, for lack of a better and appropriate word that will not get me in trouble, boring thing over and over again for the rest of my natural born life.  So I will ask you? What would you rather have? A job that makes you happy that pays minimum wage, or a job that you absolutely loathe but are paid handsomely for?

P.S.
What is the difference between a job and a career? And do not go to an online dictionary or look up the actual definition of it.  In your own words, what is a job and what is a career. Then what is the difference?

Animation and all its glory!

6 because he is so awesome.  Also when I looked him up it said they were stitch punk characters.  Whatever that means.  Oh well.  6 rocks!
